Through iteration and using unpredictable techniques, Fiona McGuigan will guide the students through a process to push your work from representation in to abstraction.

Jeff Hanada leads LINK students in a session that will teach drawing the human figure.

An introduction to the basic concept of storyboarding.

Students will be lead through an intensive workshop of gesture and timed drawings inspired by live (clothed) models.

During the workshop, students will learn basic head structure and pastel rendering techniques.

Select a story that interests you from the newspapers provided and create a collaged poster (newsprint, paper, pen, pencil etc.) that includes images and text. Once you have created the poster, change the text to take the opposite stance. See if the image still works.

Students will learn traditional hand-drawn animation techniques and how to break down motion and timing into key frames and in-betweens

In this workshop, students will take inspiration from nature and learn observational drawing and painting techniques with guest artist, Sharon Birzer.
