Through the deliberate practice of “mistake-making,” students will learn how to turn artistic bloopers into material for even better beginnings and remove the fear of making “bad art."

Students will be asked to consider their own personal symbols, they'll sketch then paint them.

Lad Decker will talk about why she loves one of the world's oldest media, and students will learn foundational skills for painting.

We welcome Local Painter & Sculptor Fred Lisaius to teach this painting workshop which utilizes wood panels, acrylic paint & some unorthodox painting techniques to create portraits of endangered animals.
