Event Details

Although Polaroids have been around since the 1950s, they have made a big resurgence in recent years. Polaroids are an easy and fun way to take photographs that result in an instant print coming right out of the camera. There are endless possibilities when it comes to showcasing these little square pictures!

For many years, our guest artist Kelli M. Perletti has been using a mixture of photographic techniques to produce images that are both mysterious and meaningful. They’ll lead us through taking Polaroid photos around the detail-rich Equinox Artist Studios building in small groups, and then teach us how to transfer those images to other surfaces through emulsion lifting. We’ll learn techniques to manipulate and collage these images once they have been lifted to make unique, standout pieces of our own.

Please RSVP by April 3rd at 6pm to save your seat!
