Event Details

February is the perfect month to escape the drizzle and learn the art of drypoint printmaking! You will learn how to draw on a plexiglass plate using a drypoint tool and how to make prints using an etching press.

What to Wear

You might get ink on your clothes! Please wear clothes that you don't mind getting a little dirty (or bring an apron or old t-shirt that can go over your clothes).

What to Bring

We will provide images and illustrations for students to work from, but you can also bring your own. The theme will be animals (real and imaginary), but students are welcome to choose a different subject. Please note that the final print will be a mirror image of your drawing. This is especially important if you are including text.
