What is Interior Design? What does it mean to be an interior designer?

The Northern Pacific Chapter of the International Interior Design Association is here to answer your questions and guide you through the first steps of designing spaces you love, for everyone to enjoy!

After an overview of the field, you’ll get started on your project by working in small groups to put together your ideas with elements of interior design. Working together and independently, you'll get to mix and match the real materials that interior designers use to create mood boards, which are the central point for design inspiration. IIDA volunteers will personally guide you through collaborating and crafting your vision.

Location: Please note that the Duwamish River Community Hub at 8600 14th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98108 is a different location from the September Seeing Place Workshop.

Students, please bring your sketching journals and pencil from the September Seeing Place workshop. If you didn't attend the September workshop, LINK will provide you with one.

RSVP by 8pm on October 9th to save your spot!
