Event Details

In this workshop, Esther Loopstra will lead you through creative drawing exercises that will allow you to find a unique visual language of your own. Instead of working from observation, these exercises will expose you to new approaches and methods for "activating" a surface with color. You will be encouraged to think about how art can be a means to express internal states, memories, and emotions while using vinyl records as your canvas.

Vinyl has been making a comeback for years now, but never like this. Whether you prefer records or MP3s, you’ll gain a new appreciation for the beauty that's possible with vinyl at this workshop.
