Event Details

In this month's workshop, students will be divided into 4 to 5 small groups to work on designing a pop-up library guided by a team of architects from Team Gensler, giving them the opportunity to learn the full architecture process and collaborate with teammates. The library will be designed so that it can be dropped anywhere, with a goal of increasing human interaction and community building. Each group of students will come up with a concept, design the space, sketch a floor plan, elevations, reflected ceiling plan, and make a model.
