Jessica Hoffman is an artist working in Seattle, WA. She holds an MFA in Book Arts/Printmaking from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA and a BFA in Photography from the Corcoran College of Art and Design in Washington, DC. Currently, Jessica teaches Book Binding and Box Making classes at Pratt Fine Arts Center and she is the Press Operator at Farewell Paperie, a letterpress and design studio. Previously, she worked as a Conservation Bench Technician at the American Philosophical Society in Philadelphia, PA and served on the Board of Directors for the Philadelphia Center for the Book. Her work investigates memory, obsessive behaviors, and interactions between people and communication technology. Her installations include work in several mediums, among them video, photography, books, and printmaking. Jessica has exhibited her work both nationally and internationally in galleries and book fairs. Her work has received several awards, including an Artists Trust GAP Grant in 2014 and a Pratt Fine Arts Center Art Bridge Fellowship in 2013. She is an active member of SOIL Art Gallery.
